A METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF BALLAST WATER OF SHIP USING ELECTROLYSIS UNIT

PURPOSE: A ballast water treating method for a vessel using an electrolyzing unit is provided to implement an organism eliminating process by passing ballast water through a filtering part, the electrolyzing unit, and an ultraviolet ray irradiating unit. CONSTITUTION: Seawater introduces into a ballast water tank(40) through a seawater inlet(20) by a ballast pump(30). A filtering part(11) is arranged between the seawater inlet and the ballast water tank. An electrolyzing unit(13) electrolyzes the sea water through the filtering part. An ultraviolet irradiating unit sterilizes the sea water when the sea water is discharged from the ballast water tank through an over board(50). The sea water is ballast water. Opening and closing valves(01, 03) are arranged on a pipe connecting the sea water inlet and the ballast pump.
