PURPOSE: A belt cleaning device for a conveyor is provided to effectively remove extraneous matters attached on a belt surface of a conveyor by using a water film, a mist film, or a fluid film formed between a belt and a device body. CONSTITUTION: A belt cleaning device for a conveyor comprises a device body(10) and an anti-abrasion belt device. The device body contacts with a belt return unit(120) of a conveyor to remove extraneous matters on a belt. The device body has a belt contact surface(13) and an inclined surface(16) obliquely formed at the front of the belt contact surface. The anti-abrasion belt device is arranged in the device body to prevent abrasion of the belt.
