<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of sufficiently coping with narrowing the pitches of external drive terminals. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of external drive terminals (3A, 3B, 3C), ESD protection circuits (4A, 4B, 4C) connected to the corresponding external drive terminals, and output circuits (5) connected to the corresponding external drive terminals are provided with arrangement along one long side of a rectangular semiconductor substrate. The plurality of external drive terminals are arranged in n columns, a plurality of columns along Y direction, in a zigzag manner in which each position of the external drive terminals is mutually shifted between each column. The output circuits include n output units (5A, 5B, 5C) aligned in X direction that intersects with the Y direction, respectively corresponding to n external drive terminals. By the zigzag arrangement in the n columns, the pitch of the external drive terminals can be narrowed. In the output circuits respectively made to correspond to the n external drive terminals, the total width of n output units can be concentrated into the width of one output unit, by the arrangement of the n output units aligned in X direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
