<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve cable installability from a projection display device to an open/close control device. <P>SOLUTION: A projection display system includes: a projection display device 2 for alternately switching a video image for left eye and a video image for right eye to project to an object; and an open/close control device 3 for controlling open/close portions of three-dimensional video observation glasses 5 corresponding to right and left eyes, by receiving a control signal according to each display state of the video images projected to the object from the projection display device 2. The projection display device 2 and the open/close control device 3 are connected by a LAN cable 4.
