<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device in which the number of terminals for audio signal input are substantially increased to allow simultaneous connection to both a personal computer and an output device of composite video signal. <P>SOLUTION: A video/audio switch SW is provided to switch between routes of signals inputted from a Cb/L terminal and a Cr/R terminal. When a signal containing a color burst signal is inputted to a Y/CVBS terminal (YES at S1), the route of signal is switched so that the signal inputted from the Cb/L terminal and the Cr/R terminal for component video signal input is sent to an audio signal processing circuit. Since the Cb/L terminal and the Cr/R terminal for component video signal input that are not used for video signal input can be used as a terminal for audio signal input at the time of input of composite video signal (S2), a TV receiver can be connected to a personal computer and an output device of composite video signal at the same time by substantially increasing the number of terminals for audio signal input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
