<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type rice planting machine capable of easily adjusting heights of respective seedling mat pressers to a uniform height at a low cost without complicated adjustment of the heights of the seedling mat pressers. <P>SOLUTION: The walking type rice planting machine includes the seedling mat pressers 232 extended parallel to a seedling placing surface 61a upward from under a seedling table 61 for preventing a seedling mat 66 from collapsing by pressing the seedling mat 66 placed on the seedling placing surface 61a.
