The unit has MOSFETs (50, 60) electrically opening and breaking a line between battery sides. Supply lines (90-92) connect the battery sides via a switch. A bypass line (93) is connected with the supply lines and bypasses the supply lines. A starter motor (41), electrical loads (42, 43) e.g. air conditioning apparatus, and a lithium battery (30) provides power produced by an alternating current (AC) generator (10) or power charged by a lead acid battery (20). A bypass relay (94) i.e. electromagnetic relay of normally closed type, switches the bypass line between line and isolation conditions.
