The fastening device has a retaining plate (1) that is formed with a length equal to or smaller than grid field (2) of a grid (3) in which a component is to be fastened, and inserted into the grid field. The movable sidewalls are arranged in grooves of the retaining plate and width of the grooves (6,10) is provided corresponding to thickness of grid bars (4) of the grid. The sidewalls are displaced between mounting and release positions such that the distance between bottom surfaces of the grooves corresponds to distance between adjacent lattice bars.
