SIMULTANEOUS DETECTION METHOD FOR PERIODONTAL PATHOGENIC MICROBES AND KITS COMPROMISING THEM

PURPOSE: A multiplex PCR method for detecting 6 kinds of microorganisms causing oral diseases and a kit are provided to cheaply and simply detect the microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: A method for detecting microorganisms causing oral diseases comprises a step of performing multiplex PCR of DNA using two or more kinds of primers. The DNA is prepared from oral cavity. The primers are selected from: a first primer for amplifying fimA(I) gene and fimA(II) gene of Porphyromonas gingivalis; a second primer for amplifying a part of 16S rRNA of Tannerella forsythus; a third primer for amplifying a part of csxA gene of Campylobacter rectus; a fourth primer for amplifying a part of OpdB gene of Treponema denticola; a fifth primer for amplifying a part of pin0048 gene of Prevotella intermedia; and a sixth primer for amplifying a part of LtC gene of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans.
