HEAT CONDUCTIVE GLASS, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat conductive glass, which can be applied also to glass lining, is excellent in heat conductivity and exhibits little expansion due to foaming of the glass; and to provide a method for manufacturing such a heat conductive glass.

SOLUTION: In the case where SiC as a heat conductive filler is added to a glass frit, the mixture is fired in the temperature range of ≥600°C and <720°C. The surface of SiC may be subjected to an oxidation treatment to form a SiO2film. Glass frit mixed with a heat conductive filler may be fired in an inert gas atmosphere, or may be fired under reduced pressure or elevated pressure.
