<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup apparatus which stably operates by accurately detecting variation, in the quantity of laser light, caused by moving a collimator lens. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical pickup apparatus 1, a part of laser light emitted from laser devices 2 and 3 is transmitted through a reflecting mirror 10 and detected by a laser light FMD 23. On the basis of output of the FMD 23, output of the laser devices 2 and 3 is then adjusted. Thus, even when a collimator lens 9 moves under a situation of use, a change in the quantity of laser light caused by the movement is immediately detected by the FMD 23, and the output of the laser devices is adjusted. Therefore, the quantity of laser light irradiating an optical information recording medium 17 is made uniform along a time base, and read and write operations by the optical pickup apparatus 1 can be stably performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
