<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of securing good color purity in color display using a plurality of colors. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes pixels 10R, 10G and 10B on a driving substrate 10. Each of the pixels has organic stacked films 12R, 12G and 12B between a lower electrode 11 and an upper electrode 16. Each of the organic stacked films 12R, 12G and 12B includes two or more organic light emitting layers and other organic layers other than the two or more organic light emitting layers while each of the other organic layers has a layer structure different for each pixel. A green electron block layer 15G and a blue electron block layer 15B are arranged in the pixels 10G and 10B, respectively. Even if a light emitting material of one color is deposited on pixels other than the desired pixels during film forming process, color mixture of color light due to the deposition is restrained. By using the green electron block layer 15G and the blue electron block layer 15B, the order and locations of the film formation of organic light emitting materials for respective colors can be set appropriately, so that desired color light can be easily extracted from each pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
