<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which a side suffering from noise is allowed to reduce both burden of costs for reducing suffering from noise, and suffering from noise. <P>SOLUTION: In a charging system comprised of a masking device which emits masking sounds and a server device which performs charging for the use of the masking device, the masking device is lent to a side suffering from noise, reproduces masking sound data in response to a reproduction instruction and transmits starting information and ending information of utilization of the masking device to the server device together with identification information of the masking device itself. The server device stores a payment ID defining a side generating noise as a payer of a charging amount and the identification information of the masking device correspondingly beforehand. The server device acquires the starting information and the ending information from the masking device together with the identification information, stores a utilization time of the masking device based on the starting information and the ending information correspondingly to the identification information, calculates the charging amount on the basis of the utilization time, and sums up the charging information of each identification information item for each payment ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
