<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing assembly that can prevent rollers from dropping out of a cage when attaching the bearing assembly into a housing and achieve a satisfactory attaching workability. <P>SOLUTION: When the rolling bearing assembly 11 is inserted into the inner peripheral surface of the housing, a long and narrow strip holding member 18, which is produced with wrapping film, is wound around all of needle rollers 105 to hold them on the cage 101 from the outside in a radial direction, even when an outside holding ring 106 is removed. Accordingly, the needle rollers 105 can be prevented from separating and dropping out of the cage 101 when the bearing is inserted into the inner peripheral surface of the housing. After the bearing, which consists of the cage 101 and the needle rollers 105, has been inserted into the inner peripheral surface of the housing, the narrow strip holding member 18 may be pulled in an axial direction to release the winding and be removed from the bearing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
