<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fan failure diagnosis device and a fan failure diagnosis method, by which failure of each fan can be accurately detected with a simple configuration in electronic equipment that mounts a plurality of fans. <P>SOLUTION: The fan failure diagnosis device 2 detects whether or not each of a plurality of fans 1-1 to 1-n provided in electronic equipment is out of order. A selecting unit 5 selects, in a failure diagnosis mode, a fan to be diagnosed among the plurality of fans.
