<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower capable of efficiently blowing air without increasing cost, even if the required air volume is varied. <P>SOLUTION: The air blower 1 includes a steam turbine 2, a generator 3, a blower 4 and a control part 5. The steam turbine 2, the generator 3 and the blower 4 are coaxially connected via a rotary shaft 6. The generator 3 is a synchronous generator, and has as three-phase field coil 31 in a rotor, and has an armature coil in a stator. The field coil 31 generates a magnetic flux by being excited by an electric current of a three-phase alternating current from an AC exciting device 32, and the magnetic flux rotates around the axis of the rotor in response to a frequency of the three-phase alternating current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
