The wheel rail system has a wheel (1) that is arranged on a running surface of a rail portion in unreelable state. The wheel spokes are arranged in the rim. The edge area is made of plastic or rubber material, and is formed at outer perimeter of rim. The edge area is firmly bonded with the rim. The rim is made of aluminum or an aluminum-bearing alloy material. The plastic or rubber material is more resilient than that of aluminum or an aluminum-bearing alloy material in rim.
