The device has an arrangement held on a horizontal shaft that is connected with a drive. The arrangement consists of two diametrically opposite receptacle profiles (3,4) held on a supporting unit (2) for packet formation. An upper sided position of the receptacle profile is determined for placing the objects in the receptacle profile and a lower sided position of the receptacle profile is determined for recovering a finished packet consisting of a defined number of objects.
