COF PACKAGE AND FLAT PANEL DISPLAY INCLUDING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A chip-on-film package and a flat panel display device including the same are provided to reduce failure rate in a module process by relaying gate control signals to a gate driving part. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(2) defines an intersection pixel. A timing controller(8) is mounted on a printed circuit board(10). A gate driving unit(4) operates a plurality of gate lines. A plurality of data integrated circuits(6) operates a plurality of data lines. A plurality of COF(Chip-On-Film) packages(12) respectively mounts a plurality of data integrated circuits. The plurality of COF packages connects the display panel and the printed circuit board to each other.
