PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent wear resistance and electric characteristics and significantly improved scratch resistance in an electrophotographic photoreceptor having a surface layer containing a curable resin that is obtained by polymerizing a compound having a polymerizable functional group.

SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has a surface layer containing a curable resin that is obtained by polymerizing a compound having a polymerizable functional group, wherein the surface layer contains a compound (urea derivative) having a specified structure.
