<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus of high applicability for recovering carbon dioxide, capable of detecting the concentration or the like of an absorption liquid with the passage of time, of exhibiting a stable capacity of recovering carbon dioxide, and of responding to the change of conditions or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In an absorption column 10, an absorption liquid is allowed to contact a gas G comprising carbon dioxide to absorb the same. In a regeneration column 20, the absorption liquid is heated and regenerated by discharging carbon dioxide therefrom. The concentration of the absorbent present in the absorption liquid is determined by detecting the total organic carbon content and total nitrogen content in the absorption liquid using a measurement member 40 including a total organic carbon analyzer and a total nitrogen analyzer. The controller 43 adjusts the concentration of the absorbent in the absorption liquid according to the result, and controls the carbon dioxide recovery capacity of the absorption liquid in circulation by controlling the circulation speed and the heating rate thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
