<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for processing crepe paper which enable attainment of the crepe paper having a smooth surface, richness in softness, has low density and is flexible. <P>SOLUTION: The method and the apparatus for processing the crepe paper includes a first step wherein the crepe paper is brought to a wet state by impregnating the crepe paper having a basis weight of 6-60 (g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>) with water of 0.1-50 (wt.%) per the basis weight of the crepe paper, a second step wherein the crepe paper being put in the wet state by the first step is embossed, a third step wherein the crepe paper being in the wet state and embossed by the second step is dried, and a fourth step wherein the crepe paper dried by the third step is compressed by press working. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
