<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform pull printing in a server-less pull printing system by directly connecting a desired printer and information processor without connecting an unnecessary printer and information processor. <P>SOLUTION: A client PC 100 generates and spools data for printing in response to a user's printing operation, generates identification information for identifying itself from its own IP address, and presents it to the user. When the identification information is input in a multifunction peripheral 300, the multifunction peripheral 300 converts the identification information into an IP address and requests the client PC 100 indicated by the IP address to transmit the print data. In response to the request, the client PC 100 generates print data using the spooled data and transmits the print data to the multifunction peripheral 300.
