<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a developer quantity regulating blade capable of suppressing a change in the thickness of a blade member for covering a support member. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a developer quantity regulating blade comprises; a conveyance step of conveying a band-like support member 2 along the length direction of the support member 2 to a molding die 15; a deflection regulating step of measuring a displacement amount from a reference position of the deflection in the width direction of the support member 2 conveyed in parallel with the conveyance step and moving the support member 2 in the opposite direction to the deflection direction when the measured displacement amount exceeds a predetermined threshold value; a position regulating step of sandwiching both ends 2d in the width direction of the support member 2 by a guide mechanism 30 in the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the support member 2 from the measurement place of the displacement amount; and a covering step of covering the support member 2 conveyed to the molding die 15 by a blade member 1 in the molding die 15 while the deflection is regulated by the deflection regulating step and the position is regulated by the position regulating step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
