PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inhibitors for degradation of a physiologically active peptide with a digestive enzyme.

SOLUTION: The invention relates to: the inhibitors for degradation of a physiologically active peptide comprises an aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymer E as an active ingredient; viscosity-lowering agents for a digestive tract mucosa and/or mucus layers distributed thereon which comprise the aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymer E as an active ingredient; and medicinal compositions for improving oral absorption which contain the physiologically active peptide and the aminoalkyl methacrylate copolymer E. The medicinal compositions make it possible to achieve an excellent oral absorbability of the physiologically active peptide conventionally considered to be hardly absorbed orally.
