<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image pickup device capable of changing a dynamic range according to a subject and adjusting a resolution and moire. <P>SOLUTION: A solid state image pickup device comprises: a plurality of pixel parts 2; a row selection circuit 3 which selects a pixel row having the plurality of the pixel parts 2 in a row direction and reads signal charges accumulated in the plurality of the pixel parts 2 of the selected pixel row; a row selection circuit group 4 which resets the signal charges in the plurality of the pixel parts 2 of the selected pixel row; and a control part 9 which controls the row selection circuit 3 and the row selection circuit group 4 for pixel row selection. The control part 9 controls the row selection circuit 3 and the row selection circuit group 4 so that the row selection circuit 3 selects the first pixel row selected by the row selection circuit group 4 after a first period from selection of the first pixel row by the row selection circuit group 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
