<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace atmosphere improving method capable of easily attaining a low dew point atmosphere, since moisture inside a furnace is not sufficiently removed and it takes a long time to turn a dew point to the target of being equal to or lower than -45°C by a conventional method. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for adjusting the atmosphere of a continuous annealing furnace 3, a gas partially taken out from a furnace atmosphere gas is dehumidified in a refiner 7 and then supplied again into a furnace 12. After the taken-out gas is made to pass through the refiner, a gas temperature is raised to 400-600°C in a heat exchanger 6 and then the gas is supplied from an annealing furnace wall 10 through the inside of a furnace wall refractory 11 into the furnace. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
