<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head that can raise print quality, while achieving cost reduction and miniaturization, and to provide a liquid jet apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid jet head includes: a pressure generating chamber group in which pressure generating chambers 21 which carry out communication to nozzle openings are provided in lines; and piezoelectric actuators 40 which make the pressure generating chambers 21 produce pressure change and discharge the liquid droplets from the nozzle openings. The nozzle opening comprises: a plurality of first nozzle openings 60 provided to one pressure generating chamber; and one second nozzle opening 34 provided to one pressure generating chamber.
