<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which can reduce a space occupied by heat transfer piping, an accumulator and piping connected thereto. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a compressor 15, a condensation pipe 16, a capillary 18, a cooler 5 having a fin 7 and heat transfer piping 6 penetrating the fin 7, an accumulator 8 reserving a liquid refrigerant, an outlet pipe 9b connected to a refrigerant outlet of the accumulator 8, and a suction pipe 11 provided above the cooler 5. The outlet pipe 9b is inserted into the accumulator 8; and the accumulator 8 and the outlet pipe 9b are arranged in such a manner that a refrigerant flow outlet of the outlet pipe 9b is positioned above a vertical center position of the accumulator 8. The heat transfer piping 6 is laid in a plurality of stages in a vertical direction. A connecting part between the suction pipe 11 and the outlet pipe 9b is laid in a space 12 produced by forming the heat transfer piping 6 in a short size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
