The wheel housing (1) has a wheel housing liner (3) or a wheel house spoiler (4) protruding downwards from a front area of wheel housing. Either the wheel housing liner, at its front upper surface area facing a vehicle wheel (2), or the wheel housing spoiler, at its front lower end area, has grooved recesses or grooved elevations. The grooved elevations extend parallel in vehicle transverse direction with inclination.
