PURPOSE: A roof device for a convertible vehicle is provided to prevent operating oil leakages and performance reduction due to the change of operating oil through composing a supporting device operating a convertible vehicle roof by a motor device. CONSTITUTION: A roof device for a convertible vehicle comprises a supporting unit. The supporting unit comprises a base(10), an output gear(20), a driving gear(30), links(50, 60), and a latch(61). The base is installed in a rear roof(2) to be rotated relatively. The output gear is installed in the base and driven by a motor. The driving gear is meshed with the output gear and rotated in the base. The link is coupled with the driving gear to be rotated. The latch is held or released with a rear roof through being rotated on the base by links.
