<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ablation catheter, in which a part near the tip of the catheter shaft can be made into a curved shape by operating an operation wire, and the risk of short circuit between the operation wire and the lead wire does not exist in the inside of the catheter shaft in use of the ablation catheter. <P>SOLUTION: The ablation catheter includes: a catheter shaft 10; a tip electrode 20 fixed on the tip of the shaft 10; a control handle 70 mounted on the rear end of the shaft 10; a lead wire 40 which is extended inside the shaft 10, and whose tip is fixed to the tip electrode 20 by solder 60 and whose rear end is connected to a high frequency generator; a ring shape member 50 set in the rear end side from the position filled with the solder 60 in an inside space 20C of the tip electrode 20 and electrically insulated against the tip electrode 20; and operation wires 31, 32 which are extended inside the shaft 10, and whose tip parts are fixed to the inside periphery face of the ring shape member 50, and whose rear end side can be tension-operated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
