摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new ecdysone receptor/chimeric retinoid X receptor-based inducible gene expression system, a gene therapy, mass-production of protein and antibodies, a cell-based high throughput screening assay, functional genomics, and a method for modulating gene expression in host cells for application such as adjustment of properties in transgenic organisms. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an isolated polynucleotide encoding hybrid polypeptides including (i) a transactivation domain, and (ii) a chimera retinoid X receptor ligand binding domain containing: (a) helices 1-6 of a vertebrate RXR and helices 7-12 of an invertebrate RXR; (b) helices 1-7 of a vertebrate RXR and helices 8-12 of an invertebrate RXR; or (c) helices 1-8 of a vertebrate RXR and helices 9-12 of an invertebrate RXR. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
