<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder of a sewing machine capable of providing an appropriate feeding regardless of kinds of sewing clothes. <P>SOLUTION: A feed roller 5 that rotates around a spindle 50 which is in parallel with a needle plate 3 is supported on a tailstock 21 installed on a lower end of a retainer rod 2. The feed roller 5 descends by a descending operation of the retainer rod 2 and intermittently rotates while holding a sewing cloth between itself and a driven roller installed on a corresponding position of the needle plate 3 and feeds the sewing cloth. Repetitive rotations of a feed driving shaft 40 transmits to the feed roller 5 via a swing arm 43, an upper link 46, a feed transmission shaft 44, a lower link 47 and a transmission bracket 48 and the feed roller 5 rotates during the time the feed driving shaft 40 rotates one-way. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
