<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector capable of surely holding a card with a simple structure, having compact size, offering low costs and high reliability, and being manufactured easily. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector comprises: a housing accommodating a card having a terminal member; a connection terminal attached to the housing and contacting with the terminal member of the card; and a cover member attached to the housing and forming a card housing space between the cover member and the housing. The cover member comprises a lock member for locking the card accommodated in the card housing space, the lock member is a cantilever-shaped plate spring member having a lock body part integrally connected to the cover member and extending in an insertion direction of the card, and lock salients connected to a tip of the lock body part and projecting toward an inside of the cover member.
