<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure between a connector having improved insertability and a casing without causing complication of a housing and a seal member. <P>SOLUTION: The lower end of a seal member 2 abuts on a support part 11a, and a skirt part 21 thereof is engaged with a projecting part 11b. An engagement hole 31 is composed of two bored holes, and a first bored hole 31a has diameter dimensions larger than those of a second bored hole 31b in an X-direction and a Y-direction. The first bored hole 31a is larger than an outline formed by connecting the outermost peripheral surface of the seal member 2. The under surface of a flange part 10 is brought into close contact with a front wall 30 of the casing 3 made of aluminum in an engaged state so as to be positioned in an engagement direction. A side face 110a on a support part engagement side is positioned on the side short of a level difference part of the engagement hole 31, a peripheral side face 110a' of the support part faces the inner peripheral surface of the first bored hole 31a so as to be positioned in the X-direction and the Y-direction. The seal member 2 on the peripheral surface of a cylindrical part uniformly is in uniform contact with the inner peripheral surface of the second bored hole 31b over the circumferential direction to exhibit waterproofness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
