COVER FOR LIGHTING AND LIGHTING FIXTURE EQUIPPED WITH THIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for lighting with noninflammability and excellent shape stability with a total beam transmittance of 25% to 65%.

SOLUTION: The cover for lighting 21 is provided with inorganic fiber cloth 23 and silicone resin 24. The inorganic fiber cloth 23 is formed with the use of filament lines of thread 23a made of inorganic fiber, with a thickness B of the inorganic fiber cloth 23 to be 0.10 mm to 0.26 mm. The silicone resin 24 is immersed in the inorganic fiber cloth 23 with an immersion rate of 50% to 100%. Moreover, the silicone resin 24 has a cladding part 24a with a thickness C of 0.005 mm to 0.05 mm, which covers at least one face of the inorganic fiber cloth 23.
