LIGHTING SYSTEM AND LIGHTING FIXTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system and a lighting fixture capable of easily creating target light distribution characteristics, while attaining downsizing of the fixture.

SOLUTION: The lighting system 10 includes a light-emitting module 15 and a Fresnel lens 16. The light-emitting module has: a solid-state light-emitting element 12 installed on a base body 11; and a surface light-emitting part 14 having a phosphor layer 13 for converting the wavelength of light of the solid-state light-emitting element. The Fresnel lens is opposed to the light-emitting module and is arranged with a prescribed spacing h1, and has a port diameter ϕ2 of 1-2.7 times the port diameter ϕ1 of the surface light-emitting part.
