<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To materialize traffic safety and the power saving of an illumination facility, although the whole of a system is extremely simple. <P>SOLUTION: An illumination system is composed of a sensor unit 10 for measuring the presence/absence of a vehicle C traveling in a tunnel T or a view field distance, and illumination units 20A and 20B for illuminating the inside of the tunnel T. Especially the illumination units correct a light quantity setting value which is a command value for dimming-controlling the illumination of an illuminating portion, according to a measurement result of the sensor unit 10. When the vehicle C traveling in the tunnel T disappears, the quantity of light outputted from the illumination unit is lowered. If the view field distance in the tunnel T is degraded, the quantity of the light outputted from the illumination unit is increased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
