<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the risk of the problem caused by non-rigidity of a bag per se in the state in which the self-standing bag contains a content and to reduce the volume of the self-standing bag. <P>SOLUTION: The self-standing bag 1 includes: a base-material layer 10 composed of a biaxially-stretched nylon film or the like and a sealant layer 11 composed of a thermoplastic resin film having a layer containing a cyclic-olefin-based resin and a linear low-density polyethylene. The thermoplastic resin film preferably contains the cyclic-olefin-based resin by 10 mass% or higher and 40 mass% or lower.
