<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest that keeps an unintended distortion of outer appearance suppressed even if a side part is so structured as to pivot. <P>SOLUTION: The headrest 10 includes: a base material 32 having the side supporting portions 38 provided as to pivot around the vertical axis at the right and left side of a central supporting portion 34 supported by stays 20, 20; a pad member 46 that is provided as to cover the front surface of the base material 32 and has side pad portions 50, which cover the front surface of the side supporting portions 38, being displaced following the rotation of the side supporting portions 38; and a front surface skin material 56 that is provided to cover the pad member 46 and has a flexibility.
