<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector that makes manufacturing costs low by simplifying a structure and making the number of component members small, when removing sediment such as sedimentary sand and silt apt to be accumulated on an upstream side of a bar screen. <P>SOLUTION: A dust collector 1 comprises a vertical-pulling bar screen 2 that is installed in a water channel, a rake 9 that is attached to a chain 5 so as to rake up screen residues on the bar screen 2 along the bar screen 2, and a driven sprocket 4 for the chain 5, which is disposed near the bottom of the water channel on the upstream side of the bar screen 2. A rake-out blade 10 for raking out sedimentary sand and silt on the bottom of the water channel by rotating in such a manner as to be mechanically interlocked with the driven sprocket 4 is provided near the bottom of the water channel on the upstream side of the bar screen 2.
