<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance monitoring method and system that can accurately monitor a network utilization situation taking priority into consideration in any maintenance management section in a network. <P>SOLUTION: A starting node N01 of a maintenance management section 100 transmits a communication amount monitoring request signal to a terminating node N03; a relay node N02 and the terminating node N03 measure a communication amount of its own node for each signal priority and return the measurements to the starting node N01 by a communication amount monitoring response signal when they receive the communication amount monitoring request signal; and the starting node N01 sums the measurements received from the relay node and the terminating node and the communication amount measurement of its own node, and executes performance monitoring for each priority at each node. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
