<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generating device in which an ion generating element can be cleaned easily without dismounting the ion generator. <P>SOLUTION: An ion generating device 100 comprises a suction opening 2 through which air is sucked, a ventilation passage 3 through which the air sucked from the suction opening 2 passes, and a housing 1 provided at the end of the ventilation passage 3 and having a discharge opening 4 through which the sucked air and ions generated by a discharge phenomenon are discharged. The ion generating device 100 further comprises an ion generator 12 having an ion generating surface provided with an electrode for generating ions by the discharge phenomenon, and mounted on the wall of the ventilation passage 3 so that the orientation of the ion generating surface can be changed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
