<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-fit connector press-fitting device and a press-fit connector pressing method capable of mechanically performing press-fitting work even when the maximum pressing force of the press-fit connector press-fitting device is lower than the required pressing force of an objective press-fit connector. <P>SOLUTION: This press-fit connector press-fitting device to join a connector and a substrate by press-fitting a plurality of pins press-fitted in the mold part of the connector into the through holes of the substrate has: a pressurizing mechanism part having a head including a first slit part for pressurizing the connector and the pins press-fitted in the mold part of the connector and a second slit part having a level difference to such an extent as not to pressurize the pins press-fitted in the mold part as compared with the first slit part; and a control part for controlling operation of the pressurizing mechanism part so as to press-fit the pins press-fitted in the mold part into the through holes by dividing pressurizing operation into a first pressurizing operation which is a pressurizing operation by the first slit part and a second pressurizing operation which is pressurizing operation by the second slit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
