The present invention provides a bookmark intelligent classification method and server, which relate to the technical field of computers. The method comprises: acquiring a bookmark link address requested to be classified from a client; classifying the bookmark link address requested to be classified; and returning a classification result as a bookmark category to the client. The server comprises: an acquiring module, a classification module and a returning module. The present invention acquires the bookmark link address requested to be classified from the client, classifies the bookmark link address requested to be classified, and returns the classification result as the bookmark category to the client, so as to implement bookmark intelligent classification, thereby saving the time for users to sort bookmarks manually and bringing better use experience of a browser to the users.
