A pumping system for a material pumping device comprises a material conveying assembly, which includes a material cylinder, a gear (2) installed at a fixing part of the material pumping device, and a power element driving the gear (2) to rotate around its own axis. A rack engaging with the gear (2) is arranged on a cylinder rod of the material cylinder. The material suction and discharge processes are realized through the engaging manner between the gear (2) and the rack. The pumping system is simple in structure, and obviously reduces the longitudinal size of the material pumping device. And also disclosed is a material pumping device including the above-mentioned pumping system.
