PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform remote control operation by utilizing a communication medium which has less restriction concerning directivity such as an IP network and a communicable range.

SOLUTION: Since bi-directional communication is possible between a remote controller and an operation targeted device, it is possible to perform certain communication by delivery confirmation, to handle a complicated command system using GUI operation, and to transmit large-capacity data such as moving image streaming by using a comparatively wide band. A television receiver as a remote-controlled object distributes moving image data such as a slave screen to an IP remote controller through an IP network, and the moving image data can be viewed at a side of the IP remote controller.
