<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a hybrid electric vehicle, which effectively uses regenerative electric power, even if a hybrid electric vehicle has a limited battery capacity with respect to the size of the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The controller is equipped with: a battery temperature detection means 53 for detecting the temperature of a battery 40; a battery charge and discharge restriction means 30 for restricting the charge and discharge of the battery 40 by the battery temperature detection means 53 when it is detected that the temperature of the battery 40 becomes higher than a predetermined one; and a control means 30 for supplying the generated power to an electric heater 21 as long as no operation inhibition condition of the electric heater 21 is satisfied, when the charge and discharge of the battery 40 is restricted through the operation of the battery charge and discharge restriction means 30, during the electric power generation by energy regeneration of the hybrid electric vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
