<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily restore a paper document that is once printed out in the case that the paper document is lost or damaged. <P>SOLUTION: Document data composed of a plurality of pages is stored (S101), and setting for making a self page and other pages a restorable range is also performed in each page of the document data. Then, document data on the set restorable range and a QR code (two-dimensional barcode) including page information representing pages of the document data are created in each page of the document data (S102 to S115), and the created QR code is arranged at a predetermined position of each page of the document data (S116). After that, the document data with the QR code arranged in each page is printed out to a recording medium (paper) in each page.
